Who are we:
We are Coinmerce, a European cryptocurrency platform with Dutch roots. Our mission is to make crypto simple, secure and accessible to everyone, both individuals and professionals. Coinmerce is registered as a crypto broker with De Nederlandsche Bank and serves customers in more than 10 European countries. In the near future, we will develop new financial products and launch our platform in even more countries. Coinmerce stands for transparency, which is reflected in our office in Schiphol-Rijk. Your profile
What we are looking for:
Coinmerce is growing quickly, and that is why we are looking for a Medior Risk Analyst. You will play a vital role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks within our organization. You will work closely with senior risk analysts and other stakeholders to analyze various risk factors, develop risk management strategies, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Your analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate complex information effectively will be crucial in this role.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., FRM, PRM, CFA) are a plus.
3-5 years of experience in risk management, financial analysis, or related fields.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large datasets.
Knowledge of risk management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards (e.g., MiCar, MiFID I & II, GDPR, DORA)
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, SAS, R).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to different stakeholders and different departments.
Full understanding of the importance of internal communication is crucial for this role.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and predictive modeling.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in trading, banking, insurance, or investment management, experience with crypto trading and infrastructures is a plus.
Familiarity with risk management frameworks (i.e. Enterprise risk management).
Experience with risk assessment methodologies including quantitative and qualitative details. .
Product owner & design process whereby using systems and in house tools to analysis, interpret & report data.
Experience with risk management software platforms (e.g., RiskWatch, Riskonnect, MetricStream).
