The Fundamental Crypto Analyst is responsible for providing insights and analysis that drive decision-making across our key product groups. The analyst will utilize a deep understanding of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, and financial principles to assess investment opportunities and risks.
Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed market analysis to understand the macro and microeconomic factors affecting cryptocurrency and blockchain industries.
Monitor and interpret major market movements, regulatory changes, and technological advancements.
Perform fundamental analysis on a wide range of crypto assets and tokens to evaluate their investment potential and risk.
Prepare reports and presentations that summarize research findings and investment recommendations.
Collaborate with product teams to integrate analysis results into broader investment and trading strategies.
Provide input on asset allocation for managed portfolios based on fundamental research findings.
Identify potential risks in investment strategies and propose mitigation measures.
Continuously update risk assessment protocols and tools to incorporate new market data and trends.
Regularly present analysis and strategic advice to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
Write clear and comprehensive research reports and market commentary for both internal and external publication.
Work closely with other analysts, traders, and portfolio managers to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive understanding of market dynamics.
Stay abreast of the latest research methods and analytical tools in the field of cryptocurrency investment.
Monitor counterparties regarding in- and outflow and balance statements.
What you bring:
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, computer science, or a related field. Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA) or professional certifications (e.g., CFA) preferred.
Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency markets, and decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystems is a must.
Experience in financial analysis, investment research, or quantitative modeling within the cryptocurrency or traditional finance industry.
Fluency and strong communication in Dutch and English is required.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python for statistical analysis and modeling.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and insights to diverse audiences.
