About the role
As Coinmerce grows rapidly, we’re looking for an experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with a focus on Brokerage and ideally a crypto background to lead our technology strategy and innovation across the organization with this specific focus. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in (crypto/brokerage) technology leadership, a passion for emerging trends and the vision to align technology with business objectives. This is a senior leadership role that will shape the future of Coinmerce and the broader crypto industry.
Responsibilities
Build, inspire and coach high-performing tech teams, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration in line with business needs.
Oversee platform security and data integrity, ensuring the highest standards of protection for our customers and their assets.
Design, implement and monitor a comprehensive brokerage technology strategy aligned with the company’s goals.
Ensure the reliability of the technological infrastructure, ensuring performance and scalability.
Manage the technology budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, such as DORA.
Continuously stay informed about industry best practices and technology advancements.

7+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a proven ability to improve processes, implement strategy and deliver results.
Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business goals into tech solutions.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to motivate and inspire teams.
Experience in managing complex projects, with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
