About the role
About the role
We’re looking for a Senior UI Designer to join our growing design team and help craft world-class digital experiences that are as beautiful as they are functional. You’ll work closely with UX designers, product managers, and engineers to bring ideas to life through thoughtful, user-centered design.
You’ll be responsible for defining visual systems, design patterns, and product aesthetics that scale across platforms while ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
Responsibilities:
Lead the visual design process from concept to delivery across web and mobile platforms. Improve our visual design standards by staying current on design trends, tools, and emerging technologies to continuousl.
Create high-fidelity interfaces, interactive prototypes, and design systems that enhance usability and brand consistency.
Collaborate with UX designers to translate research insights and wireframes into polished, intuitive UI designs.
Work with engineers to ensure accurate implementation of designs and maintain quality throughout development.
Develop and maintain scalable design systems, style guides, and component libraries.
What you bring:
4 or 5 years of professional experience as a UI Designer. You should have a strong portfolio showcasing shipped and visually compelling and user-friendly digital products.
Expertise in modern design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.). In addition, experience with AI would be a plus. Experience working with design systems and component-based design. This is a must!
Solid understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles. You are able to translate your designs to tickets for developers and provide the correct assets. Attention to detail and a deep understanding of typography, color, and layout principles.
Fluent in Dutch and English both written and spoken.Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. You should be able to take ownership of the task or project given to you and fulfil it to delivery.
Experience in a fast moving environment, working on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a clear oversight.
