About the role

As our Treasury Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing all treasury functions at Coinmerce. You will ensure liquidity, optimize cash management, and manage financial risks related to both digital assets and fiat transactions. You will play a key role in developing MiCAR-compliant frameworks and implementing the software solutions needed to support our fast-growing financial goals.

Responsibilities:

Define and evolve a MiCAR-compliant treasury framework, including policies, procedures, and control standards;
Take end-to-end ownership of treasury tasks such as liquidity management, post-trade settlement, and reconciliation;
Act as the first line of defense for treasury-related risks and lead incident management and remediation;
Ensure adequate tooling, automation, and data quality to support 24/7 operations;
Collaborate with Product, Risk, and Finance teams to embed treasury considerations into product and trading design.

What you bring

Experience: 5+ years in finance, ideally within crypto-native firms or high-frequency trading environments;
Industry Knowledge: High-level expertise in crypto markets, digital asset management, and financial reporting;
Technical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex data; Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Economics (CFA/MBA preferred);
Soft Skills: A strong ownership mindset, high ethical standards, and the ability to operate in a high-tempo, 24/7 environment;
Languages: Fluency in English (professional proficiency).

Nice to have

Working knowledge of Python for financial analysis and automation.
